The Straight-line Map-wing Butterfly (Cyrestis nivea), of the family Nymphalidae, is found in Malaysia. The habitat consists of primary and secondary forests at elevations between sea level and about 500 metres. Males and females are similar, but females are somewhat paler and have slightly more rounded wings.

This butterfly can be found in Fraser’s Hill along streams and open, undisturbed areas. This species is quite easy to find on warm, sunny days.
